Captain (Android, iOS)

My personal project. Some say it is an actual startup with me as the Founder. More details here!

Quiver (Android)

Worked on a complete redesign of Vodafone Portugal’s companion TV app (TV Net Voz), both on Android and iOS, having quickly responded to the team’s needs without much previous experience on iOS;

moreCats/moreDogs (Android/Android)

Personal side project, with the help of João Lino, consisting of a minimalistic application with a single focus of displaying cat/dog pictures to the User.

We developed and published to the Google Play Store two Android applications, moreCats and moreDogs. The applications where self sustained, requiring no backend services, and crawled Reddit sub-sections in order to fetch already moderated URLs, which where then displayed to the user. Besides the crawler, the applications also tried to pre-fetch a number of items, with a system in place to manage the availability of both URLs and pre-cached images.

meoParking (Android)

I entered the company as a part-time intern, assigned to Java projects, but once I was integrated with the team I changed my focus to mobile development.

meoParking is a mobile payment parking application, with the project’s main focus being on the interaction between the app and diverse and complex Back End services. While I worked on this project a major UI/UX redesign was accomplished (bringing the app from Android APIs and Styling 2.* to 4.*), with considerable effort on my part to keep up with Android updated standards.
